Kariann Fuqua has an MFA in Painting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and has curated many exhibitions at galleries and universities across the country as a Curator of Collections and Gallery Director. She has taught courses on exhibition design, fakes and forgeries, and archival research on provenance, and, is interested in the origins of museum collections, how those objects have been used in modes of display, and how education of the public happens through exhibition design. Currently, she is the Director of the Museum Studies Minor.
