MUSE 201 – T/TH 12:30 – 1:45pm 
Introduction to Museum Practice offers a broad overview of the world of museums and provides a foundation for students interested in pursuing future employment in the field. This course will explore the operational departments and professionals that work in museums, and how they contribute to the mission of collecting, preserving, and interpreting objects of cultural, scientific, and historical significance. After looking at the role of museums in society, students will also investigate current political and ethical issues museums are facing today.

SST 110 – Slavery and the University (NEW COURSE)  T/TH 1- 2:15pm
This course will analyze how university histories intertwine with the history of slavery, will use the University of Mississippi as its primary site of research and inquiry, and will examine the legacy of slavery at this and other universities.
